The goal of ProfitMAX is to help each restaurant stay filled to capacity. NO slow nights; NO slow days; no seasonally slow periods. ProfitMAX believes that there is NO EXCUSE for empty seats in a restaurant. You can be the busiest restaurant in your market area by using the proven ProfitMAX Marketing Programs and creating a busy 12-Month AutoPilot Marketing Program.

Every month ProfitMAX Coaches have available to them a wide variety of potential marketing programs for each of the restaurants they are working with. Every month's marketing is done in great detail. As an example you will find suggestions for the month of April listed below. It is not expected that restaurants would use all of these programs, only the marketing programs that fit their customer demographics and specific location.

When working with their Coach, specific marketing programs would be personalized for each restaurant and each year would build on the previous year. Extremely successful marketing campaigns would be REPEATED and added to this year's selections. The marketing will be focused on days and day parts that will dramatically increase the restaurant's sales and profits.

The following marketing programs are ongoing programs that could be repeated each month.

MARKETING IDEAS FOR APRIL

Apr. 1 - April Fool’s Day - Discount different menu items but don’t tell your customer’s which ones until after they order. Have the waiter tell them “April Fool”. Offer a free dessert as a reward. Call your fish special “Ship of Fools”; your special of the day “Fool’s Gold”; your salad “Fool Hearty Bar”.

Apr. 6 - Student Government Day - Anyone who is in Student Government gets a FREE dessert.

Apr. 13 - International Librarians Day - Contact your local schools and libraries and hand out certificates for a FREE meal to all librarians on that day. Let them know that you appreciate their hard work.

Apr. 13 - National DARE Day - Call you local police department and talk to their DARE officer. Let them know that you are willing to sponsor a few schools in their DARE program activities. Also, tie red ribbons around the trees and bushes outside your Restaurant to show your support of the program.

Apr. 13 - Thomas Jefferson’s Birthday - FREE dessert for all who mention that it is Jefferson’s Birthday.

Apr. 18 - Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride Anniversary - Create an English Pub atmosphere. Add meat pies, bangers (sausages), and a variety of British spirits, ales and teas to the menu. Play medieval music. Have waitresses dress to fit the period.

Apr. 22 - Earth Day - Volunteer to clean up a park and hand out seed packets to all your Guests this day so they can beautify the Earth.

Apr. 23 - Shakespeare’s Birthday - Hold an Elizabethan festival. Have the waitstaff and the patrons dress as minstrels and ladies-in-waiting. Serve British traditional food and drink. Have a Macbeth or King Lear contests. Give away beer mugs (with your name imprinted, of course) as prizes for the best recitations.

Apr. 26 - Take Our Daughters to Work Day - Offer a FREE lunch to any daughter accompanying her parents to work that day.

OTHER APRIL EVENTS

National Library Week - Contact the local libraries and ask them to hand out Kid Meal Coupons to all their child patrons this week.

Daylight Savings Time - Advertise a “Buy 1 - Get 1 FREE Breakfast” this day. Your Guests will look forward to getting up and joining you for breakfast!

National Guitar Day - Play live guitar music and coordinate your food specials. Spanish guitar - Spanish food;
Country guitar - country food. Invite students to bring their guitars and participate.
